Miss Toquerville 2011!

The Miss Toquerville Pageant was held on Thursday, April 7th at the Hurricane Community Center Fine Arts Building.  There were 4 beautiful young ladies participating in the pageant.  They competed in interview, community service, production number, talent, poise and appearance and on-stage question.

Contestant #1 was Audrey Valentine.  She performed a vocal solo "On My Own" from the play Les Miserables.  Contestant #2 was Mckinlye Gubler.  She performed a piano solo Spooky Blues.  Contestant #3 was Miranda Leavitt.  She performed a reading of part of a story she had written.  Contestant #4 was Kamrynn Pope.  She displayed a photo montage she created set to music.

After the results were tallied Miss Congeniality went to Miranda Leavitt daughter of Glenn and Donella Leavitt.  2nd Attendant went to Mckinlye Gubler daughter of Lance and Marvene Gubler.  1st attendant went to Kamrynn Pope daughter of David and Kim Pope.  Miss Toquerville 2011 went to Audrey Valentine daughter of Jim and Deborah Valentine.

These girls will represent the town of Toquerville for 1 year as they participate in the 24th of July Celebration, Washington County Fair and many other city events.  Thanks to all those who donated to the Miss Toquerville Scholarship.
