I'm sure everyone knows we had some fires in Toquer. The one south near Ashcreek Point was brought under control Tuesday, May 1st, the same day it started. The one that went over the top of Toquer Hill lasted into Wednesday for just a little while. The Fire Fighters stayed right with it and kept it under control. They did a great job. Some residents took some great pictures of the fire and posted them on the web. I'm not going to give people credit for there photography, mostly because I can't remember who's was who's. But I do appreciate them making the photos available.
